  The Freeborn County Ineragency Early Intervention Commitee (IEIC) is exci
 ted to be planning and sponsoring the festival this year in collaboration 
 with th Family Y Healthy Kids Day\, and look for the event to be bigger an
 d better than ever! The Festival will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at 
 the Northbridge Mall.\n\nthe primary goal of the festival is to provide fa
 milies with the information about community resources while they participa
 te in a variety of fun learning experiences. We you will join us by provid
 ing an activity/and information table for families with young children (ag
 es birth to approximately 8 years old). Activities in the past have includ
 ed finger painting\, planting seeds\, craft projects\, face painting\, etc
 . Information tables can feature services that agencies provide to familie
 s with young children\, as well as information to educate parents about th
 e characteristics\, conditions and concerns of young children in the areas
  of health\, education and general well-being. Supplies should be planned 
 according to the numbers that attended last year which include approximent
 ly 185 families with 337 children. Twenty-two agencies helped make the fes
 tival a succcess.\n\nWe are also in need of prizes for the children attend
 ing the Festival. If you can help with some prizes or "Gift in Kind" item 
 appropriate for preschoolers\, please let us know.\n\nWe hope that you wil
 l be able to join us in making this a fun festival for the families with y
