Preceding Memories of the Heart as part of this memorial, the Tree of Memories will be lit and remain lit throughout the holidays. Located at Van Hook Park, corner of George Gibbs Drive and 6th Avenue SW (located on the west side of Soldiers Memorial Field).

A favorite Rochester holiday tradition, Christmas with Choral Arts Ensemble will once again be filled with sounds of the season, featuring the ninth annual Mary Joyce Frantz Memorial Christmas Carol, guest performances from area high school choirs, sing-a-long carols for choirs and audience. Music of John Rutter, Jackson Berkey, and Healy William will be performed alongside works by Igor Stravinsky and Felix Mendelssohn. Concerts Dec 11 and 12 will be held at Lourdes Chapel, Assisi Heights, with guests Arioso: Rochester Home School Choir (Fri) and Kasson-Mantorville High School Concert Choir (Sat). Tickets are $25/$15/$10.
