Choral Arts Ensemble is pleased to present the men of Cantus in concert at the Church of St. John the Evangelist in Rochester. Recognized as one of America's finest professional male vocal ensembles, Cantus performs programs that span many periods and genres, including chant, Renaissance music, contemporary works, art song, folk, spirituals, world music and pop. Prior to the concert will be a special Founder's Dinner, honoring CAE founder Rick Kvam ($150/person). Tickets for the concert only are 25(adult)and $15(student).

An open audition for RCT's main production in January, "DOUBT" will be held at the Rochester Civic Theatre on Nov 17 and 18 at 7:00PM.
We are looking for 4 actors and here are the cast descriptions:
1 male (35-45) A Priest facing a difficult situation.
1 Female (50s) A Principal fighting for what she believes.
1 Female (25-35) A Young teacher torn between belief and hope.
1 Female (African American, 20-40s) A Mother facing impossible choices.
Show dates: January 15 - 31, 2010
(No show on Jan 17)
Show times: Thurs at 7:30pm, Fri/Sat at 8:00pm, Sun at 2:00pm
Director: James Douglass
* Rehearsal dates will be announced at the audition.
* A script is available to check out with a small deposit fee at the box office. The script must be returned by Friday, Nov 13.
